In his work on psychological types, Jung uses the concepts of the Dionysian and Apollonian from Nietzsche's "Birth of Tragedy" to explain the nature of introversion and extraversion. Birth of tragedy is a poetry book of music. Love it.

Ok Samantha Powers sorry Nina Power your idea on Socrates never really dying I totally agree. Yet Hegel insists that the murder was real. It is part of the dialectic. It is as they say about the CIA Even if they didn't do it they did it. Know what I mean?

Just realized the podcast had already started and binged the episodes today. Thought the first ep would be crossposted in the Compact feed. Great stuff. Hitting the spot that Geoff's Outsider Theory pod hit for me. The thought of money creating the possibility of abstraction was fascinating. Don't remember Zizek mentioning it in The Sublime Object of Ideology. I look forward to another episode on writing. Recently read Plato's Pharmacy and found it fascinating.
